Booking for overseas travel in the UK is likely to increase
The UK government has announced that conditions for international travel will be relaxed from 6 July.
When the BBC asked Jonathan Smith, a correspondent for the Travel Association, he said bookings in the industry were likely to increase.
He added that travel companies would have to bear losses before a full recovery.
It's not just about airports or airplanes. Social activities such as going out to eat and drink should also be expected to change.
Patricia Pane, who works for a travel agency, says it will take time for people's confidence to be restored and is currently low.
In the summer, we also saw people bothering to travel locally. New people will now join the industry who have not traveled locally in many years.
