KARACHI: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has banned flights from Pakistan.
According to Express News, the UAE has banned flights from Pakistan and the implementation has started from 12 noon.
Regarding the ban, the UAE Civil Aviation Authority has issued a notice stating that the ban on flights from Pakistan has been imposed due to fears of corona virus and the ban will remain in force till further notice. No flights will be allowed to land at AEK Airport.
According to sources, the ban will increase the hardships of Pakistanis stranded in the UAE, special flights operated by PIA to Dubai will be affected, while Emirates will fly 14 flights a week to Pakistan in addition to Fly Dubai and Etihad. Air flights will also not be operated.
