Paris's Eiffel tower opened to tourists after three months

The famous Eiffel Tower in France's capital Paris was closed for the last three months. It was now reopened to tourists. It was the first time since World War II that it was closed for so long. According to a media report, tourists will be allowed to go up to a height of 324 meters. No one is allowed to go above the second floor.

People visiting the Eiffel Tower will have to take care of social distancing. Also, tourists over the age of 11 years will be required to wear face mask and face shield. No person will be given entry into the Eiffel Tower complex without a face mask and shield.
The tourists are able to use only the stairs to climb the tower. The lift in the tower is not closed for the use of tourists. This has been done to limit the number of tourists on each floor at a particular time.

For a few days, the top floor of the Eiffel Tower will be closed for tourists. Climbing and descending routes are also set aside to ensure that tourists do not encounter each other while climbing and landing on the tower. Tourists will have to climb from the eastern pillar and they will descend from the western pillar.
To ensure the safety of tourists, markings will be done on the floors of the tower to inform about daily cleaning and disinfection of public places. 10-tons of metal have been used in the construction of this tower. The construction of this tower was completed in the year 1889.
